The LAWNGE An organic loungechair appears to rise from the grass. The shape follows the human anatomy, making it comfortable to relax in.The LAWNGE is designed by Lisette Spee and Tim van den Burg. They wanted to create a chair that is strong enough for public space usage, but which literally integrates in it´s surroundings. This resulted in three prototypes which have recently been placed in Valkenberg Parc in Breda (NL). Materials used for this particular design are corten steel, foam and artificial grass. There are various options for the sides: wood, stainless steel with etched figures, glass with lighting and lasered artworks or logos are amongst the possibilities. A steel version was created in order to avoid vandalism; however a cheaper and lighter wooden version is also available.Another possibility is the ECO-LAWNGE. Materials: re-used wood and real grass. For private use only. www.LAWNGE.nl
